We promote safe, courteous and lawful use of snowmobiles for individual and family recreation while protecting our landowners, improving trails and supporting our community.
The SnoBlazers Snowmobile Club was formed in the late 1970s and was located at Country Power Products, Inc. in Fort Miller, NY under the name SnoBlazers Snowmobile Club. At that time, the club was mostly comprised of landowners, and snowmobilers from the immediate area who developed a local trail system, which reached out to Greenwich, Schuylerville, Argyle and Fort Edward. In February, 1998 the SnoBlazers became part of the NEW SnoBlazers, Inc. Snowmobile Club located in Middle Falls, NY. In 2013 The SnoBlazers merged with the SnoKat's Snowmobile Club located in Easton NY.
The new expanded club is comprised of landowners, snowmobile enthusiasts and their families. The SnoBlazers maintain 60 miles of snowmobile trails across 172 landowners private property in Washington County which link to other existing County trails. Our trails will take you to Bald Mountain, Easton, Willard Mountain, Cossayuna, Salem, Argyle, Hartford and over the Hudson River via the Dix Bridge into Saratoga County where you can travel across NYS to the West, North and South. We are members of both the Washington County Association of Snowmobile Clubs and New York State Snowmobile Association.
We currently have a strong club with 250 plus members and are looking for anyone who would like to join. (https://membership.nysnowmobiler.com) We hold an annual Landowner Appreciation Dinner at the Middle Falls Fire Department for everyone to attend and we hold Uphill Snowmobile Drag Races each season at Willard Mountain Ski, Ride and Slide as well as various landowner bonefires and hotdog roasts along the trail every season. We host a Safety Class each year for children 10-18 years of age in late November/early December. You can stop in or call John Rieger anytime at Country Power Products (518) 692-1015 to reserve your child's spot.
Whether you own a snowmobile or not we have something for everyone so come to a meeting and see what our family is all about.
