The Greenwich Trailblazers Snowmobile Club was formed in the late 1970s and was located at Country Power Products, Inc. in Fort Miller, NY. At that time, the club was mostly comprised of landowners, business owners and snowmobilers from the immediate area who developed a local trail system, which reached out to Greenwich, Schuylerville, Argyle and Fort Edward. In February, 1998 the Greenwich Trailblazers were resurrected and located in Middle Falls, NY and maintained 30 miles of trail. In 2013 The Greenwich Trailblazers merged with the SnoKat's Snowmobile Club located in Easton NY becoming the SnoBlazer Inc.
The newly expanded SnoBlazers snowmobile club is comprised of landowners, business owners, snowmobile enthusiasts and their families. The SnoBlazers maintain 60 miles of snowmobile trails across 172 landowners private properties in Washington County which link to other existing County trails. Our trails will take you to Bald Mountain, Easton, Willard Mountain, Cossayuna, Salem, Argyle, Hartford and over the Hudson River via the Dix Bridge into Saratoga County where you can travel across NYS to the West, North and South. We are members of both the Washington County Association of Snowmobile Clubs (350+ miles of combined trails) and the New York State Snowmobile Association with over 10,500 miles of trails.
We currently have a strong club averaging 175-200 members annually and are looking for anyone who would like to join. (https://membership.nysnowmobiler.com) We hold various landowner bonefires and hotdog roasts along the trail every season. We host a Safety Class each year for children 10-18 years of age in late November/early December. You can stop in or call John Rieger anytime at Country Power Products (518) 692-1015 to reserve your child's spot.
Whether you own a snowmobile or not we have something for everyone so come to a meeting and see what our family is all about.
